Singer/Songwriter, Russ Rogers has been actively writing, performing and recording rock/pop/soul music for the last 20 years. His guitar driven neo-soul awash in melancholic hooks, sets a dark yet hopeful tone. Current bands are A New Way to Live Forever @anewwaytoliveforever, and DRTY LVRS @drtylvrs. Notable tenure as Singer/Bassist and songwriter for The Numb Ones (Cleopatra Records) has given Russ national recognition for his song craft, a trait he has since refined in earnest. Regular solo performances offer the perfect isolated venue for Russ’ overflow of creative output.

I’ve been doing this stuff for a long time, and tend to write a lot, so it’s quite good for my psyche to have soundcloud as a vehicle for my output. Basically all of the songs I upload here were, for better or worse, written, played/programmed, recorded, and mixed by me. Drums & synths are mostly programmed, instruments are all played, and vocals are just fun 🙂
